A good collection of 200+ black and white portrait postcards and photographs of music hall stars and other entertainers of the day, c. 1918-23, almost all signed by the sitter, including Vesta Tilley, Florie Forde, Stanley Lupino, Wee Georgie Wood, Will Hay, George Robey, Cedric Sharpe and many others, some a little dustsoiled and marked, contained in four modern plastic files. Collected by Harry Hudson, stage doorman at the Old Grand Theatre, Birmingham. One photograph shows a group of people on stage, inscribed on the reverse `The Presentation of a basket of flowers to Miss Veronica Brady from the Directors & Players of the Millwall Football Club on their visit to `The Mustard Club`, New Cross Empire, when Millwall beat Huddersfield in the English Cup Tie, Jan 8th 1927.
