1906 England International Football Cap v Ireland: Full International issued to Corinthian player Samuel Day for his England debut in the match at Belfast on 17 2 1906. Mustard Young + Co cap in excellent condition with 1906 to peak below usual rose. Sammy scored a goal in the 5-0 victory making him one of the first players to score on his debut.
1897-1919 Kent County Cricket Cap: Awarded to Samuel Day who played 171 first class matches for Kent in this 23 year period. Sammy also played football for the Corinthians and England. Navy blue with raised horse on its hind legs standing on foliage. Lining good with Devereux of Eton label. Name S H Day written inside. Slight damage mainly to inner peak. Fair/good.
1992-93 Rare Arsenal Away Match Worn Football Shirt: Yellow patterned long sleeve with the famous design that got it nicknamed the Bruised Banana. Size 42/44 in good condition with Premier League badging in its inaugural season. Red Adidas logo, JVC sponsorship and number 12 to rear on yellow square background to make number stand out more for tv. Very good.
1977 Republic Of Ireland Match Worn Football Shirt + Kit: Shirt shorts and socks. Green short sleeve ONeills number 5 shirt with green and white stripes to collar and arms. White ONeills shorts and green socks with white stripes. Slight dirt to badge with ONeills and number 5 fading due to washing. Worn by Mick Martin who usually swapped his shirts but in this case was sent off v Bulgaria in June 1977 in a World Cup qualifier. (3)
1980 Holland Netherlands Match Worn Football Shirt: Adidas orange short sleeve shirt with black collar and stripes to arms. Number 11 to rear has white border. Size large. Please note end of sleeves don’t look finished and I’m certain this is how it was worn as opposing player has not touched it since.
