IPSWICH - NORWICH 1939-40 Scarce Ipswich home programme for the fixture v Norwich, 2/9/1939 and the last of three fixtures played before World War 2 started and the season was truncated and wartime regional football commenced. Ipswich had previously defeated Norwich in the Football League Jubilee game but this game ended 1-1. Score noted, slight fold, slight ageing to one edge. Generally good

Includes 63/4 v Goole, 64/5 v Hull Brunswick (Yorks League), 66/7 v Goole, 67/8 v Goole (FA Cup) , 68/9 v Middlesbrough (North Riding Senior Cup Final), 70/71 v Middlesbrough (Player of the Year friendly match), remainder are 1970s except for games v Wolves 15/8/87 (first Football League game for Scarborough ) and FA Cup game v Chelsea 24/1/2004. Minor faults. Generally good
WARTIME - GERMANY Scarce programme for Armed Forces Football Competition played in Germany. Game is between Combined Services (Germany) and Norwegian Army, played 20/10/46 in Dusseldorf. Signed on cover "Best wishes Eddie Baily" who played for Tottenham and England. Players in the Services side included four players from Scottish sides plus Parson (West Ham), Baily, Rickaby (Middlesbrough) , Duggan (Luton) and Lee (York). There were four groups in this Inter Allied Football Competition held in Germany and GB were in a group with the Danish and the Norwegian Forces.. There is a rather unusual note to the back cover stating that "Officer spectators may obtain tea from the Yacht Club after the game". some folds. Generally good
1971 E.C.W.C Real Madrid v Cardiff City played 24 Mar 1971 at the Bernabeu, Madrid. Edition of the Spanish football magazine "AS" dated the same day which includes extensive match previews, programme style team line-ups and front cover headline. No programme was produced for this match. Generally Good

Arsenal 48/9 pirate issue, 1948/9 Amateur Cup Semi-Final, Bromley v. Leytonstone at Arsenal and Replay at Chelsea and Hendon v. Bromley 1951 London Senior Cup Final at Arsenal. Fair
CHARLTON ATHLETIC MEDAL Hall-marked gold medal and case awarded to Joe Jobling of Charlton Athletic by the Football League as Charlton were Champions of Division 3 South in season 1934-35. Charlton won the division by 8 points, scoring over 100 goals that season. The Football League Winners medal is inscribed 'Charlton Athletic, 1934-35, J. Jobling' on the reverse. The case has 'The Football League' inscribed on the top and the medal was made by Vaughtons of Birmingham. Joe Jobling played for Charlton from 1931 up to the Second World War and during the War when available. Good
1965 INTERCONTINENTAL CUP Independiente v Inter Milan (2nd Leg) played 15 Sept 1965 in Avellandaneda, Argentina. The rare weekly Milan football magazine "SUPERSPORT" dated 20 Sept 1965 which celebrates Inter retaining the Intercontinental Cup and includes reports and pictures from the second leg in Argentina. Generally good
SOUTHAMPTON - CHARLTON 42 Southampton single sheet home programme v Charlton, 7/11/42, Football League South, Saints had Mitten (Man Utd), Buchanan (Chelsea), Harris (Wolves), Whittingham (Bradford City) and Rothery (Bournemouth guesting for them. Saints were also due to have Tann of Charlton guesting for them but in one of those strange wartime experiences, he changed sides and played for his own club (Charlton). Folds, pencil changes. Generally good
1983 EUROPEAN CUP Athletic Bilbao v Liverpool played 2 Nov 1983 at San Mames Estadio, Bilbao. The daily Spanish football magazine "AS" dated 1 Oct 1983 which was released the morning after the draw was made for the second round tie Athletic-Liverpool, includes Liverpool team group photo to the front cover and early previews inside. No programme was produced for this match. Generally good
NEWPORT - SOUTHAMPTON 46 POSTPONED Scarce Newport County programme v Southampton , 31/8/46. This was a long awaited return to normal peacetime Football League football but the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Southampton having to wait four days for their first game (v Swansea) and Newport seven days (at Nottm Forest). Rusty staple area. Generally good

The Annuals are two issues of the blue book of soccer "Sport Association Football Year Books 1949 and 1950, plus six issues of the FA Year Book, 1949/50, 54/55, 63/4, 85/6, 86/7 and 87/8. WORLD CUP 1966 A scarce 20" X 14" poster issued by Brian Cooper / Broadstreet King, 15 Mortimer Terrace, London NW5 with a green football pitch background and caricatures of the 11 players that played in the final in white shirts and black shorts and England World Cup 1966 in orange at the bottom. Most are dedicated and include Bobby Charlton, Jack Charlton, Emlyn Hughes. Thirteen signatures which also include Ian Rush who was the 1984 winner of the award. Generally good

WALES MENU 1929 Menu for banquet in honour of the Wales Touring Football team to Canada. The Banquet was held by the St David's Welsh Society, 24/6/1929. Wales took 20 players for the month long tour and played 15 games. The tour was a Full Welsh International tour and players included Keenor, Vizard, Jones, Cook etc. This Dinner was a post match Banquet after the game at Edmonton the same day and was held at The Hudsonia, Edmonton, Alberta. Good
WARWICKSHIRE FOOTBALL COMBINATION Two trophies presented to winners of the W.A.Camkin Cup presented by the Warwickshire Football Combination, a winners shield 1965/66 and a winners plaque 1966-67 on a wooden block. Hereford United were the winners each season and the plaques were awarded to Richard Dennison, son of Hereford manager Bob Dennison.. Generally good
