*Tom Whittaker. Arsenal Manager 1947-1956. Arsenal contracts. Original typewritten three year contract between Arsenal Football Club and Whittaker, dated 1953 and signed by two Arsenal Directors G. Bracewell Smith and Denis Hill-Wood and by Whittaker and dated 12th October 1950. Sold with an original extension contract for an additional five years as Manager and an original lease agreement on his house which Arsenal owned, both signed by Whittaker and the Directors and dated 27th November 1952. Folds, good condition Whittaker never saw his full contract out, he died of a heart attack at the University College Hospital, London in 1956

The Dinner given by the National Sporting Club on the 18th September 1956 at The Cafe Royal. Nottingham Forest v Hamburg S.V. European Cup Final 1980. Official and attractive large colour poster for the match played at the Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid on the 28th May 1980. The poster with football match scene to top border with match details of the Final and team players names printed below. Printed by Lot. Ortega, Valencia, Spain. The poster measuring 23”x39”has some creasing and wrinkling otherwise in good condition. Rare Nottingham Forest beat Hamburg 1-0 in the Final with John Robertson scoring the winning goal. Kevin Keegan played for Hamburg in the match

World Cup Brazil 1950. Rare and unusual silk? pennant produced by order of Maracana Stadium, Rio. The pennant depicts a naked man holding the Maracana Stadium with the flags of the competing nations above and a football flying through them, with Sugar Loaf and the Guanbara’a Bay to back ground. Inscription to lower border in Portuguese ‘Brazil offers to the World, the Municipal Stadium for the World Championship of Football of 1950’. A similar pennant hangs in the Maracana museum. 7.25”x11.5”. Some minor wear otherwise in good condition
