Rugby team groups include England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, a number of County teams and also a number of Club teams including Hull FC, Hartlepool Rovers, London Scottish, Richmond, Newport, Moseley, Cardiff and others. Many individual player photographs from both Football and Rugby. The book is nicely bound in claret leather and cloth with a gilt hardback cover inscription "Famous Footballers" with a gilt coloured player kicking a football, size of the plates is approx 24cm x 36 cm ( 9 1/2 " x 14"). 224 plates in total and generally in good condition, occasional slight creasing but overall condition should in our opinion be described as "Good". An excellent historical book showing the stars of the early days of Football and Rugby. This scarce book is rarely seen in condition as good as this and most surviving copies have been unbound to provide individual plates. As described
