Charles John de Lacy (1856-circa 1936), Cunard's RMSS Etruria, signed oil on canvas, 80cm x 45cm NB: Steam vessels accompanying the Etruria seen here were tugs owned by the Liverpool Screw Towing and Lighterage Company. The company was subsequently acquired by the Alexandra Towing Company in 1960. The Etruria and the The Umbria were the last Cunard ships to be fitted with auxiliary sails. Accompanying the painting is a photograph of the RMSS Etruria football team, seated on the deck of the vessel, June 1890 (2)
