1948 AUTOGRAPH ALBUM Excellent large autograph album full of autographs from 1948 with special emphasis on football, cricket and the 1948 Olympics in London. Team groups and many individual autographs. Team groups include Notts County, Leyton Orient, Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Hull, QPR, Birmingham, Burnley, Newcastle, West Ham, Southampton, Millwall, Wolves, Leicester, Crystal Palace, Tottenham (2 groups), Portsmouth (2 groups-Champions 48-49), Fulham. Cricket teams include Surrey, Northants, Notts, Lancs, Worcs, Warwicks . The Olympics autographs are numerous with seventeen pages full of autographs from participants from numerous countries who took part in the 1948 Olympic Games held in London. Approximately 15+ autographs per page from Olympians from numerous countries, a good number from USA, China, Korea, Egypt, Canada, GB etc, many different sports, over 300 signatures. In addition many individual football and cricket autographs including Denis and Leslie Compton, Laurie Scott, Welsh, Harry Johnson, Bob Beattie, Roy Bentley, Ted Drake, Harry Medhurst, Ted Fenton and many others whilst individual cricketers include Jack Hobbs and Alf Gover.
