EVERTON - NOTTS COUNTY 1890 Scarce match ticket, Everton v Notts County, 1/5/1890, grand football match in aid of the Hospital Saturday Fund. Played at Everton Football Club , Anfield which was the Everton home ground until they relocated to Goodison after a dispute with the owner of Anfield.. The ticket measures 4.5 inches x 3 inches (circa 11cm x 8cm). The ticket has slight wear and erosion in one corner and some ageing to top edge of front and on the back which is otherwise plain. Front contains match details, date, kick off time, price and signature of R. Molyneux who managed Everton between 1889 and 1901 (which we feel is printed ). As described

SCOTTISH FOOTBALL 1882 Hardback book "A Bright Sunset, The Last Days of a Young Scottish Football Player" . The book in good condition has an inscription inside which appears to be 1910. The book has 142 pages and relates the true story of a young lad who died in November 1882 after an accident playing football. He was called William Easton Riddell and attended Bellahouston Academy, Glasgow. This is the twelfth edition of the book completing 46,000 copies which suggests that the story touched the hearts of the nation. Good
