SCOTLAND-ENGLAND 1912. Issue of The National Football Programme dated March 23rd 1912 which lists the teams and referee for Scotland v England played on that day at Hampden Park plus editorial and also the teams and referees for Aberdeen v Celtic, Dundee v Kilmarnock, Falkirk v Clyde, Hearts v Queen's Park, Hamilton v Morton, Motherwell v Hibernian and Raith v Rangers. There is also a half-time scoreboard and the eight page issue includes photographs of players and League Tables etc. The National Football Programme was quite common during the 1930s as most Scottish clubs did not produce match programmes and this was on sale instead. Earlier copies however are very rare and this is the first pre First World War issue that we have seen. Large format style programme which contains editorial, photographs, statistics, line-ups , half-time scoreboard and numerous advertisements. This is volume 4 and issue number 147. There are a number of small holes along folds due to wear but there is no writing and other than the small wear holes, the programme is complete. As described

MILLWALL-CHARLTON 1938 Millwall home programme v Charlton, 20/8/1938, this is an unusual programme because it was a game played for the Football League Golden Jubilee Players Benevolent Fund and most of these games had the same programme with a few pages in the middle devoted to the two clubs involved. Millwall however produced their normal programme for the game, twelve pages including covers, and normal size. Slight folds . Good

The tournament included Hibs, Sporting Club de Portugal, Vasco de Gama, Botafogo, Fluminese, Sao Paulo, Corinthians and Olimpia of Paraguay. The Brazilian press at the time dubbed the Tournament the Club World Cup. Vasco de Gama won. Slight scuff marks to front cover. Generally Good

TOTTENHAM-LEICESTER CITY 1919- FIRST CITY AWAY Tottenham home programme v Leicester City, 1/9/1919, first ever competitive away match for Leicester City after the change of name from Leicester Fosse in July 1919 when the Fosse Club was wound up due to financial difficulties. Leicester, at the same time, was restored to City status after a gap of 700 years , and the club decided on Leicester City as a name for the new enterprise and City retained the Football League status previously held by Fosse. This programme was the second game played by City but the first away from home. Spurs won the match 4-0. First Tottenham home programme after the First World War with a few remarks made about their loss of First Division status. Programme is not ex bound volume but has tears to the edges and spine (numerous small tears). Fair
