A Rare fully Signed V.I.P Players' Programme/Menu for the St. John's College (Cambridge) v Keble College (Oxford) Association Football match held 25/2/1914 at Cambridge. Formally the property of the Oxford player R.N. Bartlett. Lists both teams plus match officials and ''Menu'' for the post match dinner which is fully signed on the back by players and staff from both teams. 1914 Madrid (Select) v Espana (Spain) Single sheet programme for the Friendly played 27/9/1914. Santiago Bernabeu's brother Marcelo played in the Madrid team along with four other players from Real Madrid. 1919 England v Scotland, Ireland & Wales (Friendly) played 1/2/1919 in Audruicq (Calais) France (4-page official programme) 1919 at Notts. Forest FC Programme of Rally Exhibition & Sports at Trent Bridge Football Ground 26/7/1919. 1922 Norway v Ireland played 25/5/1922 at Brann Stadium, Bergen. Very rare 8-page newspaper style programme includes team line-ups and Welcome message from the President of the Norwegian FA to the front in English etc. Poor condition with heavy folds, worn with tears and in need of restoration. 1926 FA CUP Final LMS (London Midland & Scotland Railway) programme which advertises the Final. 1928 C.A Independiente v Barcelona (Friendly) played 11/8/1928 very scarce single card programme. This was the third game played by Barca on the 1928 South American tour which included eight games in Argentina & Uruguay in August 1928 plus 1936 Germany v Italy (Friendly) played 15/11/1936 at Olympic Stadium, Berlin. Rare 8-page programme/Itinerary for visiting Italian fans only. Generally good
WAR TIME PROGRAMMES 1943-44 Football League War Cup Final Aston Villa v Charlton Athletic played 20/5/1944 at Stamford Bridge (Single sheet official programme), 1945 H.M.S Ganges v R.A.F. 16 Group single sheet official programme for the Inter-Services Football Match (possibly played in Ipswich). H.M.S Ganges team included four Ipswich Town players plus 1945 Burma Star: ISSECC Football Touring Team v Army Representative XI played on Gymkhana Ground (Gymkhana, India) Touring Team included three players from Nottingham Forest plus players from Leeds United, Blackpool, Leicester City, Falkirk, Albion Rovers, Fulham, Aston Villa & Clyde. The programme states that the ISSECC Touring teams ''latter half of their tour has been extremely stiff, having played six games in seven days at Singapore, and seven games in seven days in the rest of Malaya''.
