1969 E.C.W.C Athletic Bilbao v Man City, first leg played 17 Sep 1969 at Estadio San Mames, Bilbao and the second leg in Manchester. Two editions of the daily Spanish football magazine/newspaper "Dicen" each previewing the matches with team line-ups. No programme was produced for the first leg in Bilbao. This was the season City won the trophy. Slight ageing/marks. Generally Good

WBA 25/3/1933 slightly worn, Jimmy Greaves for Tottenham Hotspur v. Sheffield Wednesday 1963 with paper loss bottom left, Leicester City attacking against Man. City in the 1969 FA Cup Final, George Best for Fulham v. Bristol Rovers 4/9/1976 and George Best in training for Manchester United. An 8.5" X 6.5" of Neil Young scoring in the 1969 FA Cup Final and a 7.5" X 4 of George Best with a coat over his Manchester United shirt. Generally good
LEAGUE CUP FINAL 60-61 Rotherham home programme for the first Football League Cup Final, v Aston Villa, 22/8/61 as the two-leg Final was held over from the previous season. Rotherham won this First Leg 2-0. Programme has slight folds, minor creases and minor ageing but no writing. Fair-generally good

Berks and Bucks Cup Final, Maidenhead v Windsor and Eton 22/4/46, Isthmian League v Spartan League 16/3/46 and 1/9/48, and two High Wycombe Football Challenge Cup Finals, Flackwell Heath v Wycombe Wanderers Reserves 26/3/48 and Flackwell Heath v Lane End, 15/4/49. (Flackwell won both Finals, winning 8-1 v Lane End). Scores noted. Generally good
SOUTHPORT - HORWICH RMI 1939-40 Southport home programme v Horwich RMI, Reserves match for Southport, 7/10/1939 and game was one of the first played after football was resumed on a regional basis after War was declared. 12 page issue, Lancashire Combination. Horwich team was not to hand at the time of printing but Southport Reserves team is listed. Minor fold. Generally good

First season for the newly formed Cardiff City Blue Dragons who were owned by the Football Club but had a short lifespan of three seasons. Includes away programmes at another recent venture for Rugby League at Carlisle. Good

1977 UEFA CUP FINAL Juventus v Athletic Bilbao (1st Leg) played 4 May 1977 at Stadio Comunale, Turin. Official "JUVE" 32-page orange cover issue which previews the Final and was available to buy on the day of the match in Turin. Includes a history of Juventus in European football, extensive Final previews, full team line-ups, pen pictures, details how Juventus reached the Final etc.
COVENTRY CITY IN JAPAN 1972 Collection of scarce mementoes from the Coventry City tour of Japan in 1972, items comprise a set of cuff-links and tie-pin with Coventry-Japan 1972 detailed on the sky blue enamel front and on the reverse it states "Nagoya June 4th" (Coventry beat Japan 3-0 at Nagoya on June 4th). Also included is a boxed football shaped medal with ribbon showing the UK and Japan flags in enamel together with the crests of Japan FA and Coventry City FC also in enamel. The box has "The Football Association of Japan" inside the lid. Also includes a boxed tiepin with the same four crests/flags in enamel on the front, a tiepin , also boxed with the crest of the Japan FA in enamel and "The Football Association of Japan" printed inside the lid.. A framed team group photograph of Coventry in their club suits is included (club officials also in the photograph taken in Japan) and finally there is a gold coloured metal figure of a footballer on a plinth with inscription on the plinth reading 10/6/1972 Hyogo FA Japan, (Coventry defeated a Japan XI on that date 2-1 in Kobe).
