Lee Andrew Martin (born 5 February 1968) is an English former football left back. He played with Manchester United, Celtic and Bristol Rovers, among others. He represented his country at under 21 level. Martin started his career in the Manchester United youth system. In 1990, he scored the only goal in the FA Cup final replay against Crystal Palace. Tony Dunne Manchester United autographed high quality 16x12 inch photograph.. He won 33 caps for the Republic of Ireland, playing for the national team in 1962-1975. He was Irish Footballer of the Year in 1969. Born in Dublin, Dunne played for Stella Maris as a schoolboy Shelbourne from 1958-1960. Having helped Shels win the FAI Youth Cup in 1959, he won the FAI Cup with them the following year, beating Cork Hibernians 2-0 in the final. A week after the final, he was signed by Manchester United for £5, 000. His debut for United came on 15 October 1960 against Burnley. He helped the club win the 1963 FA Cup, the 1965 and 1967 English Football League First Division championships, and the 1968 European Cup. In his United career, he scored two goals and appeared in 530 games, a number bettered only by Ryan Giggs, Bobby Charlton, Bill Foulkes, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Alex Stepney. Good Condition. Two extremely rare 1920 ' ALDERNEY ' Muratti caps - Channel Islands football interest - Centenary year of Alderney's famous win, the first - blue and white cap with 'ALDERNEY ' stitched to the peak, '1920' and emblem to the front segment and 1921-2-3-4-5 to the adjoining segment, embroidered in gold thread, the second - with ' ALDERNEY ' stitched to peak '1920' and emblem to the front segment. * Won by Alderney football players in 1920, the cap with multiple dates probably won by either Captain W. Mclernon or T Baker, the only two team mates playing all the games dated, the second cap dated 1920 probably won by James Lihou, the only player found to have only played in that Muratti (the first year the Muratti Vase was played for after the competition was suspended for five years due to the First World War.) It is the only time Alderney has ever won, beating Guernsey 1-0 in the final (played in Jersey). Alderney had already beaten Guernsey that year 6-2 in the Peace Cup, a competition played between the two islands between 1919 and 1925. ** Inaugurated in 1905, teams from Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney fiercely contest the annual battle for the Muratti Vase trophy. * Condition: Both caps very good condition, slight staining and colour loss, some loose threads.

The First World War scrapbook of Warrant Officer (later Lieutenent) Alfred Edwin Rust who served in the Royal Engineers (Essex, Fortress Engineers, No 1 Electric Light Company, part of Harwich Coastal Defences). An excellent, well annotated album containing mainy formal and informal photographs of his comrades in arms, at work with their spotlight equipment and anti aircraft guns, and at play, relaxing at their 'hutments'. Newspaper cuttings, death announcements of comrades and officers, (one from influenza in 1918) letters from deceased friends at the front. Also his commisions, various military passes, fantastic photos of an Anti Aircraft Corps v Munition Girls cross-dressing charity football match held in February 1918, with newspaper clippings covering the event. Plus other emphemera such as cartoons and an RAF Christmas card. Linen bound, hardback, 37x27.5cm approximately 60 filled pages. A facinating historical document.
