A 9ct gold and enamel FAW Council medallion, inscribed to commemorate '40 Years Service' (85gms), two Welsh Football League Runners Up medals for seasons 1935-36 & 1937-38 (9ct 10.49gms) and a Welsh League Cup Winners medal 1937-38 (9ct 6.42gms), two silver Welsh football medallion pendants from the similar period, various non-precious FIFA and other football bodies medallions and gifts, interesting photographs of his football life including with Sep Blatter, Duke of Edinburgh etc Until his death at the age of 99 on July 28th 2016, Tommy Forse was Cardiff City's oldest surviving ex player. He was an F.A. of Wales life vice-president. Born in Cardiff he was at one time President of the F.A.W. having also been a council member, vice-president, chairman of the International Committee as well as serving in various capacities on the Welsh League. Starting in parks football in Cardiff he signed for Cardiff City as an amateur left back having been spotted by City coach Jimmy Blair, a former Scottish international full back. He was a regular in the reserves from the mid 1930s but never turned professional. He won 3 Wales Amateur caps and although he never played a first team league game for Cardiff City

SEVEN RUGBY UNION CAPS, five inscribed with the name or initials of EJ Price, two are not but all the caps were gifted to Brynaman RFC by the Price family who had a wine shop in the village. The caps include a Wales 1914 cap, an 1887 Wales cap, a UCHRFC 1902-03 (believed University College Hospital Rugby Football Club), an 1899-1900 cap with an embroidered crest composed of a red dragon flanked by two leeks, two caps have embroidered dragon crests (one dated 1897-98) and lastly a cap with embroidered monogram dated 1898-99 Provenance: Brynaman RFC

THE WEDNESBURY CHARITY FOOTBALL CUP BY WALKER & HALL - BIRMINGHAM 1879, a large and impressive trophy cup with scrolling acanthus twin handles, banded stem and stepped footed base leading to an ebonised base with silver plaques engraved with previous winners of the cup. The lid is finished with a decorative finial figure of 'Charity'. To the front of the main body of the trophy there is an early engraving of a football match in play with the ball coming in from the sideline toward a group of footballers with a bearded goalkeeper between the flag topped posts. The other side is engraved with 'Charity' attending to two children with the motto 'Charity upon whose kind maternal breast, the sheltered babes of misery rest'. Either side of this are the crests of Wednesbury and Staffordshire. The base has engraved plaques with past winners of the trophy whose notable include - The first winners Stafford Road, Wolverhampton 1880, Nottingham Forest 1883, West Bromwich Albion 1894, Walsall Town 1886, Wolverhampton Wanderers 1888, Singers FC - Coventry 1892, Walsall FC 1913, then a break for the Great War, Walsall winning three times 1921, 1922 and 1923 and up to the last winners Cradley Town 1991 , H

Heart of Midlothian Football Club interest, gold and enamelled medal for Robert McNeil of HMFC winners of the Rosebury Charity Cup, 1886, unhallmarked, 10.5gThe Rosebury Charity cup was founded in 1882 and organised by and named for the patron and Prime Minister Lord Dalmeny, 5th Earl of Rosebury after seeing the success of the Glasgow Merchants Charity cup which was founded in 1877. The Tournament predates the organised league SFL founded in 1890.The 1886 final was contested by rivals Hearts and Hibernian, It had to be replayed twice. On the first occasion played at Tynecastle on 15th May 1886 with a crowd of 4,5000. Hearts were losing 2-0 but the match was abandoned in the 75th minute because of a crowd invasion, the first replay was played at Powderhall on 1st June 1886 with a crowd of 4000, Hearts were winning 2-0 but again because of the crowd the match was abandoned, Bobby McNeil scored Hearts' second goal in the match, one of the four goals he scored in the Tournament, finally the second replay was played at Powderhall on 24th June 1886 with a crowd of 2500, Hearts won 1-0, Willis Mackay scored the only goal of the game in the 40th minuteThe Rosebury Charity Cup has been contested sixty four times, Hearts are the most decorated team with 32 victories followed by Hibs on 16, Leith Athletic on 10, St Bernards 4 and Armadale and Motherwell share a victory each2016/17 season sees Hearts return to the pink and yellow colours of the 5th Earl of Rosebury
