Set of six original vintage advertising posters for Cadbury Fry chocolates. The posters are designed as a set of educational stories about cocoa production called The Story of Kofi. 1. Kofi sends the beans to you." The artwork features a young boy, named Kofi, pointing at a cargo ship leaving from Ghana, with two workers carrying and loading sacks of cocoa beans. The sacks are stamped 'Cadbury Fry Cocoa - Produce of Ghana'. Acceptable condition, pinholes, staining, tears.; 2. Kofi likes chocolate too. The artwork features a young boy, enjoying a bar of Cadbury's iconic milk chocolate, next to a woman enjoying a cup of Cadbury's Bournville Cocoa powered drink. The background features a pair of chickens, a campfire and a straw house. Good condition, pinholes, tears, paper losses at top right corner, staining.; 3. Kofi helps to shop. The artwork features a young boy carrying groceries on his head, that include Cadbury's Bournville Cocoa powder and bananas. He is accompanied by his mother, who is carrying a baby and dressed in traditional colourful African clothing and handing over money to a shopkeeper. Good condition, pinholes, tears, paper losses at top left corner, staining.; 4. Cocoa beans dry in the sun." The artwork features a young boy, named Kofi next to a wooden table made of branches and string, where cocoa plantation farmers are sorting out cocoa beans for drying. The workers are wearing colourful African clothing. Good condition, pinholes, tears, paper losses at corners, staining.; 5. Kofi's father grows cocoa. The artwork features a young boy accompanying his father and two other cocoa plantation farmers, who are harvesting cocoa beans from the cocoa pods taken from the cocoa trees. The workers, in colourful African clothing, are picking the pods off a tree and cutting them open with machetes. Good condition, pinholes, tears, paper losses at corners, pencil marks.; 6. This is Kofi at home." The artwork features a young boy, named Kofi feeding a chicken, whilst his mother, dressed in colourful African clothing makes food in the background, outside of a thatched straw house.
