An early George III period serpentine-fronted mahogany commode; the well-figured moulded top above four full-width graduated oak lined drawers retaining original gilt-metal swan-neck handles as swags and flanked by canted corners headed with two Adams-style patera in high relief over reeded volutes and raised on canted, fluted bracket front feet, basically 18th century but possibly with some later 19th century additions and restorations (109cm wide x 60.5cm deep x 85cm high)

A Victorian mahogany box commode, the hinged top enclosing two folding arms and a circular lid above a panelled front on plinth base, height 48cm, width 56cm, depth when closed 42cm.Additional InformationGeneral age related scuffs and knocks throughout the surface. The commode has brass cusp handles to either side, some small chips to the veneer to the left hand side. The ceramic pale liner is heavily crazed with a large crack running from the top to the bottom edge.
