A 19th century French mahogany commode, the grey veined marble top above cushion drawer and three further drawers over a broad plinth and turned squat feet, width 132cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall in good condition. Small chips to edge of marble and slight losses to veneer. Split to right hand side.
A late Victorian burr walnut and inlaid sewing box centred with a vacant mother of pearl cartouche and escutcheon, the hinged lid enclosing a pull-out tray with various compartments with contents, 25 x 17.5 x 12.5cm and a 19th century child's commode chair with turned supports and stretchers, height 48cm (2).
Georgian mahogany bedside cupboard with pull out commode base. 79cm H x 53cm L Provenance: Dante G Rossetti gifted this to his friend Detmar Blow, the famous early C20th architect, and grandfather of the late Lucilla Warre-Cornish formerly of The Tower House, Woolestone (the vendors grandmother). This was cleared from the top bedroom in The Tower House, along with many other items from the house consigned for this auction.

CONDITION REPORTS: Fading, some scuffing and scratching, staining, some slight veneer losses, some veneer bubbling, general wear.
