A 19th century French bombe shaped kingwood two drawer commode chest. With serpentine rosso marble top and having rococo style ormolu mounts and handles. Raised on square scrolling supports, 1m 30cm wide, 85cm high, 54cm deep. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Right front corner of the marble broken into several pieces and re stuck. Some veneer chips and repairs.
A 19th century French flame mahogany and black/grey veined marble commode secretaire chest of drawers being raised on bracket feet supports with central bank of drawers, the upper drawer with appointed interior and fall front. All having brass key escutcheons. Atop a large flared black and grey veined marble top. Measures 120cm wide x 97cm high x 48cm depth.

A fine French Louis XVI style ormolu mounted walnut and Coromandel wood nine piece bedroom suite in the manner of Henri Dasson, late 19th century, comprising a large three door breakfront armoire enclosing shelves, press trays and drawers (extended at the back) 260cm H x 233cm W, a marble top three drawer commode, 103cm H x 131cm W x 61cm D, a wall mirror with shaped bevelled plate, 87cm H x 69cm W, a dressing table with an arrangement of nine drawers,78cm H x 135cm W x 60cm D, all with oak carcasses, a tryptic dressing table mirror, 74cm H x 110cm W, a double bed with side tables attached and three single chairs (9) (PLEASE NOTE - The canopy above the bed does not come with this lot)Bed = 143cm H x 158cm W x 214cm L (approx)Provenance: Purchased 16th may 1963 at The Kensington Gallery Brighton for £550PROVENANCE: Private collection, from a Thames riverside house, Windsor. CONDITION REPORT: This is a handsome and high quality bedroom suite. The centre section of the wardrobe was extended / deepened to make it more conducive to modern hanging. The two side sections were note enlarged but the sides of the wardrobe were extended to the same depth of the centre section. A good cabinet maker has completed this. When it was extended a secret compartment was added to the right hand side section. Some sun fading to the right hand side of the wardrobe. The dressing table is heavily sun faded to the back of the triple mirror, less so but noticeable to the top of the dressing table proper. There is a corner spandrel lacking to the left hand corner of the knee hole section of the dressing table. The marble top commode has some nibbles to the underside edge of the marble, old wear / chips to both front corners and general light age wear scuffs to the top. Light fading to the front of the drawers. Bed head with several light varnish blemishes / scratches to the panelled section, not immediately noticeable. Bed sides with blemishes and scratches to varnish. Some fading to the left hand side of the bed. All pieces oak lined and most of the drawers with peg holes at the back. All pieces with general light age wear scuffs, some scratches, but overall an impressive suite.Two keys
A 19th Century French demi-lune cream painted Commode, with inset marble top above two central doors with central drawer and two curved side drawers opening on single spigot, the overall highlighted in gilt decoration and with four painted panels of female figures, on four square tapering legs, approx. 104cms w x 89cms h (41" x 39").
