A VICTORIAN SERPENTINE SATINWOOD, MAHOGANY AND ROSEWOOD COMMODE, C1880 the top with figured mahogany oval, fitted four graduated oak lined drawers with brass locks, the brass ring handles apparently original, the sides in matched veneers, 90cm h; 60 x 107cm++In good unrestored condition, the oval inlay to the top with veneer shrinkage crack and water stains, the front slightly faded, no shrinkage cracks, locks and handles all present, minor losses and knocks to the feet. Probably by the same unknown maker as lot 967.
