An Edwardian novelty silver mounted jewellery box in the form of a commode, William Comyns & Sons, London 1902, the textured sides with scrolling panel decoration, the plain polished hinged cover opening to reveal lined interior, all raised on four column legs terminating in paw feet, 9.5cm high
A medium to light oak armoire, the arched cornice with raised carved C scroll and acanthus detail over a pair of three quarter length doors with bevelled edge mirror plates and long drawer to base with shaped apron and squat scrolled acanthus feet, together with a matching marble top commode, double bedstead and bedside cupboard with veined marble top
Late 19th or early 20th Century French kingwood and lacquer decorated serpentine fronted two door commode with a marble top and ormolu mounts raised on cabriole supports CONDITION REPORT Some small marks to doors from the odd bump (nothing too bad). No splits to the sides, both front feet slide on over the foot but need fixing on again. There is a crack to the marble, I have now taken the marble top off and turned it over and it has been re-glued back together but is noticeable from the top, hence the crack. Small pieces of beading are missing around the right hand door.Structurally all fine, all doors open and shut as they should. No replacements or alterations.
