A continental commode, probably 18th century Italian/Milanese, of serpentine outline, fitted with two short drawers and two long drawers, having a cross banded top raised on cabriole legs, with profuse ivory inlay of putti, flower heads, scrolls and panels to top, front and sides, well cast handles, stamped Edwards and Roberts, width 52.5ins Condition report: Various large cracks to the top. Some inlay loss and timber loss with some old replacements. Loss to moulding on left hand side. Further loss to timber veneer and inlay to front and sides. Some veneer loss to frieze below bottom drawer. Front left leg foot veneer part missing. Rear right leg foot broken off but present

A Scottish mahogany and inlaid sofa table and a 19th Century mahogany commode with tray top and a rush seated bedroom chair CONDITION REPORTS Large areas of staining and water damage, numerous surface scratches, large areas of loss to the inlaid banding. Cracks and splits to the wood, accretions. Fading and discolouration mainly to the top and sides. Quite rickety. The inside of the drawers have what appears to be water staining and ink stains. Considerable signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use and in need of attention - see images for details
