A Swedish Kingwood, Fruitwood, Crossbanded and Parquetry Decorated Bombé Shaped Commode, circa 1750, in Louis XV style, the antique green and dark red marble serpentine shaped top above three deep drawers with gilt metal rococo style cast handles and escutcheons above a shaped apron, 116cm by 66cm by 82cm See illustration The marble top various deep scratches, ring marks, pitting. With key and working lock. Generally the commode is in good condition. Some veneer losses and small bruising around the drawer fronts and the apron. Small section of timber missing on the front-right leg just to the left of the gilt mount. The left-hand side of the chest back left-hand leg has some veneer losses and also the shaped apron on this left-hand panel some faults to the timber.

The bank of drawers of bombe / serpentine shape having a red lacquer finish with oriental scenes to the front of the drawers. Flared red marble top with decorative brass handles and key escutcheons with applied floral brass corners. Raised on sweeping legs with brass feet decoration. Measures 82cm x 119cm x 51cm.
A stunning antique style Italian high end design Grande Arredo ebonised large commode chest of drawers. The bombe shaped bank of two drawers with silvered face mask and floral swing handles, silver studded bands and applied silver metal mounts. The drawers being leather fronted and having soft close features. All raised on cabriole legs. Makers stamp to verso. Measures: 106cm x 158cm x 56cm.

A matched Victorian cream and blue painted bedroom suite including 1 small chest, 94cms wide, 85cms high 54cms deep, side table, 81cms wide, a towel rail, and associated similar rail, set of four side chairs, 83cms high and a small rectangular commode (9). Condition Report: All with wear from age, handling and use- notably loss to painted surface particularly extremities and margins which looks to be largely untouched.
