An early 19th Century Dutch mahogany and floral marquetry block front commode:, bordered with sycamore lines, the top with a moulded edge and re-entrant corners decorated with birds and foliage centred by an urn of flowering stems, containing two long drawers and with shaped apron below, the sides similarly decorated with urns of floral foliage, on cabriole legs, terminating in block feet, 130.5cm (4ft 3 1/4in) wide.

Il mérite une attention plus soutenue. A 19th Century pine commode, the plain top above three long drawers with brass handles and column supports raised on ringed and turned legs CONDITION REPORTS Various marks, impressed marks, scratches, scuffs, ring marks, water marks etc throughout. Some cracking to the back right hand corner, together with splits and various further splits throughout. the top is faded compared to the base. Some woodworm holes evident throughout.
