AN 18TH CENTURY FRENCH WALNUT SERPENTINE COMMODEWith moulded drawers, 130cm wide; 63cm deep; 92cm highCondition Report: The top with a light warp; filled holes around the back and side edges where the top was probably resecured. See extra images. The drawer fronts are also slightly warping away from the sides, although the commode seems sturdy and solid. Some old minor traces of worm in areas, as to be expected. Together with inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age. The back legs and edges are relatively more worn. A good, decorative example.
