An 18th Century Italian provincial walnut commode:, of large size, the top with a moulded edge, containing four long geometrically moulded panel drawers flanked by fluted canted angles, and with moulded panel sides, on bracket feet, 152cm (5ft) long, 61cm (2ft) deep, 116cm (3ft 9 1/2in high).
A 19th Century Portuguese carved hardwood serpentine fronted commode:, the top with a moulded edge and projecting rounded corners, containing two long drawers with applied brass floral foliate drop handles and urn, husk and foliate scroll key plates, the shaped apron with foliage centred by a husk within a cartouche, having bombe sides on cabriole legs headed with foliage and husks, terminating in webbed pad feet, 83cm (2ft 8 1/2in) wide.
