Commode à ressaut marquetée sur fond de sycomore sur un panneau central d`un médaillon à colonnade dans un paysage et de part et d`autre, de branchages fleuris se recroisant, ceux-ci sont liés par un ruban à la partie basse; les côtés d`un vase à piédouche surmonté d`un dais; entourage en amaranthe et bois teinté vert; montants arrondis à canneaux simulés. Repose sur des hauts pieds cambrés fascetés. Dessus de marbre Campan. Epoque Transition Louis XV-Louis XVI.

Il est considéré comme l`un des très bons ébénistes du XVIIIe siècle ayant exercé jusqu`en 1783, moment où il met un terme à son activité en dispersant son stock dans une vente aux enchères. Il laisse une production importante et de qualité de commode galbée de style Louis XV tant en laque de Chine ou vernis qu’en marqueterie et placage de bois précieux. P.
