Hinges to lift up top replaced with new screws, also screws of side handles have gone straight through the sides. Pull out base repaired.

Elle ouvre à cinq tiroirs sur trois rangs. Ornements en bronze doré tels qu’entrées de serrure de forme ovale, entourées de guirlandes de feuilles de chêne et de ruban, poignées de tirage rondes à motif guilloché. Montants plats et pieds fuselés à cannelures simulées. Dessus de marbre Brèche d`Alep mouluré et à angles brisés. Estampillé Reizelle et M. Ohneberg avec poinçon de Jurande. Époque Louis XVI. (Petits manques au placage, marbre restauré). HAUT. 91 cm - LARG. 129 cm - PROF. 60 cm Martin Ohneberg est reçu Maître le 7 juillet 1773. D’origine allemande il s’établit d’abord rue Traversière et se spécialise dans des commodes de belles qualités aux formes classiques. François Reizell est reçu Maître le 26 février 1764. Également d’origine allemande, il se retrouve lui aussi dans les années 1770 rue Traversière ce qui laisse imaginer comme le montre la présence des deux estampilles sur notre commode, qu’ils ont pu se connaître et collaborer ensemble dans la réalisation de certains meubles. Les cannelures simulées sur les montants et les pieds sont typiques du travail de Reizell (Drouot 7 novembre 1988 salle 1 reproduite dans le Kjellberg) par contre la forme de la commode rappelle les réalisations d’Ohneberg.
