A George III mahogany bedside cupboard With a shaped tray top with kidney shaped apertures above a pair of cupboard doors, now fitted with a frieze drawer, raised on legs of square section, 78x51x51cm. CONDITION REPORT: The curvilinear top with kidney shape handles, old restoration to the shaped top from the right of the kidney shape aperture to the upright support measures approx. 6cms vertical x 31cms to the edge of the shaped handle, minor space between the boards in the top, shrinkage crack on the left hand side beneath the kidney shape aperture handle, usual stress cracks at the back and stress back on the right hand side beneath the opposing kidney shape aperture, two front doors hinges tight, good condition, original roundel handle, now with a frieze drawer,old conversion from a commode, good colour and with the exception of stated good condition.
A Fine Quality Louis XV Style Petite Commode with ormolu mounts. The bêche-d'alep marble top having a moulded edge above two drawers and a swept apron on elegant tapering cabriole legs. The honeyed burr figured veneers inlaid with rosewood borders and scrolling bands overlaid with crisply cast Rococo mounts, 30½ ins (77.5 cms) high, 20 ins (51 cms) widem 12 ins (31 cms) deep.

Fall fronts both with scratches to the inside. One pull out commode stained on interior, liner in tact and in good condition. The other drawer with few signs of wood worm holes (old) and with slight chip to gallery. One 0.25cm wider than the other, the figuring on the top for more pronounced than on the other.
