A good Louis XV style break front marquetry commode the shaped green marble top above three frieze drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors centred with oval gilt bronze medallions cast with birds and trophies, on a marquetry ground of cornucopia and scrolling leaves, between diaper floral panels at the side, and enclosing shelves, raised on hexagonal legs, the whole applied with gilt bronze appliques, early 20th cent. 147cms wide x 62cms deep x 93cms high
An 18th Century Dutch carved oak serpentine fronted commode on a stand, with moulded, scroll and acanthus leaf decoration, the top with a moulded edge, containing two long drawers with applied drapery swag, urn and foliate ring handles, the sides with later carved moulded, quatrefoil and foliate panels, the stand on cabriole legs, terminating in pointed feet, 114cm (3ft 9in) wide.
19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL WALNUT SERPENTINE FRONTED COMMODE CHEST OF DRAWERS, with later associated mirror back, having three deep crossbanded block fronted serpentine shaped drawers and standing on scroll moulded supports with moulded freize. Probably French. C1850 and later. 50" Wide x 27" Deep x 35.5" High plus super structure.
