A Louis XV Kingwood and Rosewood Three Drawer Commode, late 18th century, with a grey and white Carrara marble top of serpentine shaped form above two short and one long drawer with rococo cast handles, raised on cabriole legs with gilt foliate mounts and sabots, 110cm by 52cm by 83cmMarble top, which is old, with numerous scratches - some deep. Timber with variations in colour. End panel particularly faded. Numerous veneer lossees. Some sections of veneer replaced and some shrinkage splits visible between drawers and around legs.
