A Superb Quality Elm Coaching Table Circa 1700. The oval boldly figured twin plank top rests upon a swing gate with a slanted baluster turned leg joined by two run-moulded block stretchers. The splayed upright having the swing top panel above the shaped stretchers accommodating the gate. 25½ ins (65 cms) in height, 36½ ins x 35 ins (93 cms x 89 cms).
A Joined Oak Box-Top Table Circa 1700 of fine colour & patination. The fold-over double demi-lune top opening out onto a column turned swing-out gate to form a circle with a box compartment enclosed below. The frieze having a reeded moulding above a serpentine edge, raised on three elegant columnar legs joined by curved stretchers and terminating on out-swept block feet. 28 ins (71 cms) in height. 29 ½ ins x 14½ ins (75 cms x 47 cms).
