Manner of Robert Carlyle or William Nutter, an early 19th century watercolour "Irish Gate Carlisle", circa 1810-20. 25 cm x 37 cm, framed. NOTE: Robert Carlyle did a series of drawings of old Carlisle in the late 18th century. These were repeated by Nutter in the early 1830's. This work may be an early copy of a Carlyle original possibly by M.E. Nutter or Robert Carlisle Junior.
Robert Clementson (active 1864-1903), oil on canvas, horse with spaniels by gate in landscape "Rest After Sport", 90 cm x 69 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The painting is in generally very good condition. There are no repairs and no holes in the canvas. The picture looks to have been fairly recently cleaned and is in generally very good order with no lifting paint and no major craquelure. The gilt slip would appear to be original, however the gilt outer frame is clearly later. The painting has come in for sale from a local estate.
A 17th century oak gate leg table with bobbin turned legs. Height 74.5 cm, width 86 cm, length flaps up 130 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The height from the floor to the table top is actually 74.5 cm, not 76 cm. The height to the underside of the top is 72 cm, the width dimension is correct at 86 cm, the length of each flap is 45 cm and the centre 40 cm, making the full length 130 cm.
A George II mahogany gate leg table, raised on boldly carved cabriole legs and claw and ball feet. The oval top above a frieze drawer, circa 1750. Height 72.5 cm, width 106 cm, length flaps up 120 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. The leaves are not warped. The rule joints have slight cracks and surface marks but no real issues. The flaps and top are not warped. One flap has a stress fracture which runs for approximately 20 cm. There is slight movement here but not problematically so. The other flap also has some stress fractures and a corner repair. The top has all the usual splashes, watermarks and old surface scratches. The drawer runs smoothly but is missing its lock escutcheon. The legs have had various repairs to the top locks but are structurally solid. There are no repairs to the legs themselves. There is no evidence of any woodworm.

Overall good condition. Measures 18cm in length.
A vintage 20th century Coalport hand painted signed miniature cabinet teacup. The teacup being signed for J M. Saucer hand painted by Keith Hancock. Under plate signed by a MP. All with coal port makers mark to base. Together with a hand painted lidded pot signed P. Graves and painted with a pheasant atop a gate.
