A George III mahogany dining table, comprising two D ends and one leaf with centre gate leg and raised on simple turned legs. Width 122 cm, length excluding leaf 136 cm, including leaf 194 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good condition. The top is of good colour. There is no significant damage to the top. The leaf is a similar colour to the ends. All legs are in good condition and there are no loose joints. The gate leg action operates as it should and we have the clips. There are some minor scratches and marks to the polish in places. There are no real issues with this table. Both D ends have a single gate leg.
A Georgian mahogany triangular single drop flap occasional table, with gate leg action and raised on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Width 86.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table appears to be in generally good condition. It is structurally sound. The rear drop flap is not warped. The colour of the drop flap is ever so slightly darker than the front section. The right hand section of the frieze has two small veneer nibbles and an old veneer repair. The left hand section has had a small section of veneer refitted. This is visible. The front three legs are all in good order with no movement at the joints. The rear gate leg has had a break at the top and an old screwed and spliced repair using the original timber. It is structurally sound. The hinges that hold the flap in place whilst old appear to be later as there is evidence of a previous hinge. It is possible that the top does not match the base, however we are really not sure about this. The colour of the table is in our opinion reasonably good but is certainly not dark Cuban mahogany in colour but slightly lighter and more walnut to look at.
