A pierced and engraved ivory needlebook and a similar pincushion, the needlebook pierced and carved to both sides, with a central panel of a gate and tree within leaves, pink silk lining with flannels, 6.4cm x 4cm, the pincushion rectangular and pierced to one side with flowers, blue silk lining, 4.6cm x 2.3cm. A good Tunbridge ware mosaic rosewood book slide, the hinged end supports with cut corner tops, one with a fine mosaic panel depicting a top hatted gentleman with a lady entering through a gate flanked by railings to a cottage with elaborate spiral brick chimneys, the other end with a group of flowers, both within geometric mosaic borders, 34cm closed, 15.5cm deep, 15.5cm high.
