Lot 1363

A Victorian walnut small Sutherland table, each flap with rounded corners supported by turned columns and legs and with downswept feet. Width 23 ins. CONDITION REPORT: This table requires some restoration. Both flaps are flat and not warped and do not have any significant losses. The centre of the top has water damage to one quadrant. This should be visible from our image. The water damage has slightly extended down onto the flap and the surface is rough to the touch in places. The end supporting block at the top of the leg has evidence of old woodworm and veneer damage. The opposite end is a replacement mahogany block. The turned supports are in good order as are the legs which are nothing other than dirty. Both gate legs are loose at the joints but are original. General restoration is required.
