A scarce 5 shot .36" rim fire conversion of a Colt Pocket pistol of navy calibre with round Police type barrel, 9" overall, barrel 4½" with filled rammer hole, spring loaded ejector on right, and no visible markings, numbered 8811 on all parts, the conversion plate incorporating hinged loading gate, the hammer with rim fire striker rivetted onto the left side, faint traces of stage coach scene on cylinder, the frame stamped with July 1871 and 1872 patent dates, the trigger guard stampted "36 CAL". WO and basically GC (has been cleaned over moderate to deep pitting and wear); in a modern leather holster. Plate 1
