An early 20th Century Chinese Oriental hand painted ink on gold covered wax paper Seven Character Poetry scroll featuring a poem that pauses every seven characters. A type of painting material which made from coating wax on Xuan paper then glued with shattered gold pieces. Measures approx; 133cm x 66cm.
An antique 19th Century Chinese Oriental black lacquered trinket jewellery box of simple rectangular form. Carved pattern decoration to the side exteriors with carved scroll decoration atop having an inset jade dragon. The hinged lid opens to reveal a hollow interior with bronze bands to the rims. Measures approx 6cm x 15cm x 10cm.
Xu Beihong (1895-1953) - Horses Chasing and Racing - Chinese ink on paper scroll depicting two black race horses painted in Pan Xi Town. Includes laminated note from the Artists Wife Liao Jingwen. Measures approx; 71cm x 89cm. Xu Beihong (1895–1953) was primarily known for his Chinese ink-and-wash painting of horses and birds. He was one of the first Chinese artists to articulate the need for artistic expressions that reflected a new modern China at the beginning of the 20th century. He was also regarded as one of the first to create monumental oil paintings with epic Chinese themes—a show of his high proficiency in an essential Western art technique. Liao Jingwen (Wife of Xu Beihong, Curator of Xu Beihong Memorial Museum), inspected the painting on August 10th, 2006 and deemed the painting is authentic thus signed on the certificate;

Qian Songyan (1898-1985) - A moment of peaceful life - Chinese ink and watercolor on paper scroll created by the side of Lu Gou bridge;Measures approx; 131.5 x 43cm Qian Songyan was a Chinese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1898. Their work was featured in exhibitions at the Shanghai Himalayas Museum and the National Art Museum of China. In MutualArt’s artist press archive, Qian Songyan is featured in Sotheby's Hong Kong to Hold Fine Chinese Paintings Autumn Sale 2009, a piece from the ArtDaily in 2009. The artist died in 1985.

A late 19th/early 20thC Chinese bronze covered censer, boldly cast overall raised decoration depicting dragons chasing the flaming pearl amidst cloud scroll, the cover cast with a large pearl finial, a dragon mask to the front of base, a pair of dragon mask loop handles, raised on three mask & paw feet, ornate circular seal mark to underside, 8.2" across handles.
