A Chinese Blanc de Chine Dehua Kilns, Fujian Porcelain Figure of Guanyin, bearing the impressed mark of He Chaozong, seated in meditative pose, with elaborate chignon, robes and bejewelled breast, holding a scroll in her left hand, with serene downward gazing expression, impressed square seal mark and gourd shape impressed mark, 20.8cm high See illustration He Chaozong is a well known Chinese potter of the 17th century, fashioning mainly Buddhist inspired white porcelain figures.
