For her devotion and loyalty to her husband, his wife Liang (4731 - her maiden surname) is granted the title of the Lady of the Third Grade", 97.75ins (248.4cm) x 12.5ins (31.7cm)

A Japanese 19th century porcelain charger decorated in the Chinese Kangxi manner with a central motif of a tree with spreading, flower decked branches upon which two exotic birds roost, the wide border with white lotus flower scroll work on a red ground and with four spaced famille verte landscaped panels interspersed with diaper pattern florets, red six character mark to reverse, which reads as Zoshuntei Senpo Tsukuru (made by Zoshuntei), diameter 40cm.
Two Chinese 19th century blue and white baluster jars and covers decorated with the entwined Xi characters that read as Shuangxi and translate as 'double wedded joy' and also mean 'marital harmony'. The characters are the main subject and are on a ground of foliated scroll work with the shoulder of each bearing a key fret thunder pattern border, one height 42cm, diameter of base 22cm, the other height 44cm, diameter of base 21cm.
