A pair of Chinese hardwood jardinière stands, each with a panelled top above a carved frieze decorated with dragons chasing a pearl on moulded square supports and scroll feet united by peripheral stretchers, 'Qing Dynasty, 95.6cm high, 37cm square. (2) Lot 419 – a pair of Chinese jardinière stands – 1: the top has a crack to the central panel and with some further cracks to the outer panels. One frieze panel has become loose and has been reattached but there is a gap between the top and the base section and with an old chip the right bottom corner. The joints are loose and there are construction cracks widening to top of legs. A small chip to the top of one leg. General wear to feet and legs and to the stretchered base. 2: a crack to the central panel to the top and with a small chip to the edge of the top. Further small chips to moulding on frieze. The legs are a little unstable. Some old cracks to legs. General wear to feet and base with some surface marks to frieze and carving. With some cracks to frieze more visible from the back of the frieze. Some frieze panels possibly reattached.

A Chinese celadon-ground Canton famille rose vase, 19th Century Of baluster form, the rounded body with over-hanging ruyi panel border extending to a flared neck with traditional scroll border, adorned with relief moulded Guanyin figures seated on open lotus handles, the body finely and densely painted in typical pink, green and blue enamels, depicting alternating panels of ladies amidst interior and veranda scenes, detailed with precious objects and rockwork, and naturalistic scenes of birds and butterflies perched and in flight before Chrysanthemum, lotus and peony shrubs, all reserved against a light celadon ground, 62cm high. A set of thirty-six Chinese Canton export ivory backgammon counters, Circa 1900 The circular counters, intricately carved in high relief with Manchu figures, amidst landscapes and pavilions, together with two tapered dice shakers similarly decorated with traditional scroll bands and comparable depictions of Manchu figures, comprising eighteen stained counters and eighteen natural counters, within original box, each counter 3.5cm diam. CONDITION REPORT: The set appears to be in very good condition with only four the stained counters and three of the ivory counters showing signs of scratching, wear or splits. Both beakers also appear to be in good condition. Obviously due to the age there will be signs of wear and tear, otherwise good condition
