A VERY LARGE FAMILLE ROSE 'PEACH FESTIVAL' VASEQianlongOf baluster form with an ovoid body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck and flared rim, the neck flanked by a pair of phoenix-form handles, finely painted around the body with a continuous landscape depicting groups of Immortals in various postures, including the Eight Immortals, Hehe Erxian, Dongfang Shuo, the Three Star Gods, Liuhai, and Niulang and Zhinü, all within a landscape detailed with a tall balcony, gnarled pine trees, rocky cliffs, tumultuous sea, and distant mountains, below the Goddess Xiwangmu seated astride a phoenix in flight, all between a band of ruyi heads below the rim, and three bands of faux-bois, lotus scroll on a turquoise ground, and lappets above the foot.80cm (31 1/2in) highFootnotes:The size and sumptuous decoration of this vase attest to the quality of craftsmanship during the Qianlong period. A Chinese Scroll Painting Signed Chen Rong Song Dynasty 127 x 67cm Uesugi Mochinori (April 15, 1844 - April 18, 1919) was a prominent political figure during Japan's late Edo, Meiji, and Taisho periods. He served as the last lord of the Yonezawa domain in Dewa country. Born as the illegitimate son of Saiken Uesugi, he was designated as his heir shortly after birth. In 1860, when the Yuanfu was established, he accepted the taboo of Tokugawa leshige and was given the name Maoxian. With the abolition of feudal clans and establishment of counties in 1871, Maoxian was ordered to move to Tokyo. He self-funded a trip to England to study and upon his return, he was appointed as the magistrate of Okinawa in May 1881. Uesugi was a patron of Chinese culture and avidly collected Chinese antiques throughout his life. Uesugi Mochinori passed away on April 18, 1919 (Taisho 8) at the age of 76. He was posthumously given the Dharma name Xiande Yuan.
TWO CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN FIGURES OF GUANYIN, 19/20TH CENTURY. Both figures standing dressed in robes holding a floral sprig and scroll. The larger figure with impressed seal mark to back. 36cm and 40cm tall. (2)The larger figure with loss to end of right thumb with firing crack to inside of base. The smaller figure in good overall condition. Both with no signs of repair.

To include a Chinese Qianlong export famille rose porcelain teapot decorated with flowers; A famille verte jar and cover; An octagonal shaped bowl with turquoise ground interior; Together with a blue ground bat-shaped bowl with green enamel decoration of bats and floral scroll, four-character mark of Tongzhi to base and incised two-characters to interior. Octagonal bowl 20cm wide. (4)Teapot cover with replaced finial, the pot with minor nick to tip of spout and rim of cover. The rest in good general condition with no major damage or repair.
CHINESE SCROLL CALLIGRAPHY PAINTING BY PROF. YAN TIEZHEN, ink on paper, inscribed and dated 1985 with red seal left side, 63.5 x 43 cm. Provenance: Prof Yan was introduced to the vendor in 1984 while teaching in China and over the course of the next two years, the scrolls were given to him by the artist. The vendor had it mounted on a scroll in Tianjin.
