(sold USD 8.750) (link) Each unusually enamelled allover in an even tone of coral-red forming the ground and reserved with long winding leafy stems of white chrysanthemum flowers, the curling handle and sinuous spout with cloud clusters.

A Chinese nest of three hardwood Tables, probably huanghuali, circa 1900, rectangular tops above moulded scroll friezes, (larges) W 44.5 cm x H 61 cm x D 31 cm, (smallest) W 32 cm x H 40 cm x D 22 cm(3)Provenance - The Damien Parsons Collection. The property of the late John Damien Parsons, an East Devon architect and husband of poet Patricia Beer, whose interest in Asian Art was sparked after he inherited a few pieces of Chinese porcelain from his grandfather. Over many decades Parsons continued to add to the collection, sourcing Chinese and Japanese Ceramics and Works of Art from exhibitions and other collections. Pieces from the Parsons Collection were recently exhibited at Mount Edgcumbe.

TWO 18TH CENTURY CHINESE BLUE & WHITE EXPORT PORCELAIN TUREENS QIANLONG PERIOD (1736 - 1795) each of footed oblong form with twin hare head handles, decorated with landscape scenes, with domed cover, the first with pomegranate, the second with scroll finial 34cm wide Tureen with scroll finial has historic rivet repair to the body, and chip to foot. Tureen with pomegranate finial has hairlinerunning through cover. Further to that, both subject to manufacturing flaws. Additional images now available.
A Chinese cloisonné enamel and gilt copper ewer, mark and period of Qianlong, the pear-form body decorated with blue, red, yellow, white and pink prunus on a 'cracked ice' turquoise ground, the neck with further prunus above a stiff leaf collar and band of ruyi heads, the gilt domed cover with Buddhistic lion knop finial, flanked by a gilt chimera mouth scroll spout and foliate capped scroll handle, incised four-character mark within double square to base, height 18.5cm. Note: for a similar Qianlong mark and period ewer with Buddhistic lion finial, see Lot 542, 'Imperial Pursuits: Treasures from the Palace Workshops' sale, 2nd May 2005, Sotheby's Hong Kong.
A Chinese celadon glazed porcelain figure of a scholar, probably early 20th century, modelled seated holding a scroll and fan, incised two-character mark to each side of base, height 14cm, with wood stand, together with a group of ten Shiwan pottery and other pottery figures, heights ranging from 12cm to 26.5cm (minor faults).
