A Chinese Porcelain Bottle Vase, Qianlong mark and period, of globular form with tall flared neck, painted in underglaze blue in ``heaped and piled`` style with a broad band of lotus scroll within bands of lotus, lappet, scroll, key and stiff leaf, six character seal mark in underglaze blue, 37cm high Provenance: Sotheby`s, Bond Street, 15.12.95, lot 431, with original buyer`s invoice A similar example in the Palace Museum, Beijing is illustrated in the Official Kiln Porcelain of the Chinese Qing Dynasty, Shanghai 2003, pg.233 9cm by 8cm triangular section broken out of upper rim and repaired with museum-type restoration, including filling of holes where the piece was previously riveted back. There is also small associated loss to the break. Some minor surface wear. Has museum type restoration so all the repairs and damage can be seen. 140713
A Pair of Chinese Export Carved Ivory Small Spill Vases, Canton, circa 1850, of tusk section, each carved in deep flat relief with bracket panels enclosing figures amongst pavilions and trees, on foliate pierced bases, 9.5cm high Vase 1 - possible tiny losses to the carved detail. One small foliate scroll missing on basal foliate foot. Vase 2 - slight stain just off the rim. Tiny drying crack at tip of lobe of one panel. Foliate foot appears good. Please note the bases are separate and one rattles slightly. 210513
A Chinese Silver Inlaid Bronze Figure of Guanyin, signed Yutang Shisou, Qing Dynasty, the goddess of mercy seated looking gently downwards, her forehead with a silver urna, wearing jewellery and flowing robes inlaid with silver wire cloud motifs, holding a scroll in her left hand, upon a rocky base and flanked by a vase on a rocky protuberance, the back with silver wire inlaid four character inscription, 36cm high Small casting hole/puncture on her left sleeve, near wrist. The base has a piece of green cloth glued to the base which now has a copper sheet across it (possibly later). Some casting faults on the back of her robes and a firing stress crack. Some rubbing to extremities. Slight dent to the rim of the small vase at her side. 130613

He was a member of the RSA and specialised in stained glass Belt buckle - badly cracked and with chip to the glass section. The white metal parts good but tarnished. A Chinese bronze censor with fo dog finial, the sides with eight daoist symbols raised on triple scroll feet, height 25cm and a smaller censor with seated Quan Yin finial, the handles mounted as two child acolytes and raised on triple feet, height 15cm. Condition Report: Smaller censor has a cast four character seal mark. Wear to the patina. Both have minor surface scratches and dents.
A Chinese famille rose vase of flattened pear form, enamel painted with circular reserves of two wading storks and a bird on a rock issuing flowers, upon a foliate scroll ground, height 29.5cm. Condition Report: Both lugs have been broken off and missing. Some rubbing to the paint work and some firing faults throughout.
