A Chinese Porcelain Large Circular Dish, Kangxi, painted in underglaze blue with a foliate roundel within radiating lappet shaped panels with foliage on a lattice ground within a broad scroll rim with peacocks and chrysanthemums and panels of baskets of fruit, the reverse with precious objects and foliage, 55.5cm diameter See illustration Large chargers in this classic Chinese pattern were sought after by the foremost collectors of Chinese porcelain in the 18th century. A similar example in the Topkapi Saray is illustrated by Krahl and Ayres in The Catalogue of the Chinese Ceramics, vol 3, pl.2300. Another from the Royal Collection in Dresden was sold at Christie's, London, 19 May 2005. Typical minor rim frits and flakes. Some minor mis-firing to underglaze blue to central roundel. Glaze rich and free from notable scratches and wear.

A Chinese taste brass mounted and Delft mantel clock, 18th and 19th centuryThe Dutch Delft vase body decorated with profuse flowers and foliage, later mounted with a brass gallery rim, dragonhead and ring handles and a cover surmounted by a prone lion dog, the brass base with pierced scroll apron raised on four qilong feet, the moulded dial inset with enamel Roman numeral tablets, the French eight-day movement striking on a bell.53cm highCondition report: Movement has no pendulum so not tested for running or timekeeping. Metal mounts appear good with no signs of repair or losses but do show signs of age and use. Cover rests on top but does not sit withing the recess, suggesting there may have been an additional element between. Dial fair with only negligible signs of age. Vase shows signs of age including surface abrasiions and glaze chips as well as adaptation to clock mounts.

An antique Chinese hardwood low table, with pierced frieze and moulded legs with scroll feet. Height 61 cm, width 121 cm, depth 56.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This table has loss to the frieze at one end and is slightly loose to the joints. There is some water straining and marks to the top.
A Chinese hardwood horseshoe shaped folding chair, with brass fittings. Height to top of back 106 cm, width across arms 66 cm, sold with receipt when purchased second hand in 1995 from Blackwood Furniture Antiques, 18 Travessa do Pagode, Macau (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chair is in generally good condition but has one problem. The right-hand facing arm has been broken just above the middle brass binding. The same arm has been broken beneath the end scroll. The arm therefore is a little unstable. The remainder of the frame is in generally very good condition with no other significant issues. The seat is firm and fully serviceable. It is really only the repair to the arm that is required. Our images will show the extent of the damage.
A Chinese hardwood demi lune side table, inlaid with mother of pearl with scroll foliate and character mark decoration. Raised on four hipped legs terminating in spade type feet. Height 80 cm, width 98 cm, depth 48 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This table has some loss to the mother of pearl inlay to the top together with smaller losses to the frieze and one of the legs. The table is loose to the joints of the back legs in particular and one of the back legs does appear to have been broken and repaired.
