An 18th Century Chinese famille rose ovoid tea caddy, decorated with fisherman and merchants and a seated sage on a scroll spreading base with matching lid, 13 cm high, together with two blue and white ovoid Chinese tea caddies, 13 cm highFamille Rose:Chips and a hairline crack to the rim.A chip and several hairline cracks to the scroll base.Areas of rubbing to the paintwork.Small areas of retouching to the sage's robes.Lid has several significant chips and the gilt has rubbed away.Ovid Tea Caddies:Rubbing to the gilt.Both have a hairline crack running downwards from the rim.Small areas of pitting.Rubbing to the bases.One lid has broken on the underside, the other on the top.Both have chips to the rims.

2nd Madras Native Infantry Victorian Officer's waist belt plate. A fine gilt example. Rectangular plate mounted with a laurel sprays enclosoing crowned Elephant on'Assaye' over 'Nagpore' scroll with '2' below. Chinese Dragon mounted to the base of the sprays with scroll inscribed 'China' beneath. Plain ends. VGC Became 62 Punjabis in 1903 and 1st Bn. Punjab Regt. in 1922.
