(chain, thirty-six charms and padlock clasp total gross weight 107.1g).Provenance: Sold by Pauline Moore. Pauline Moore was a twenty year old model when she wore the bracelet aboard the Greek ship Lakonia as it set sail from Southampton on December 19th 1963 on an eleven day Christmas cruise. Four days into the voyage disaster struck as fire broke out with the Lakonia seven hours of Madeira. Some 128 of 646 passengers and 376 crew on board were to lose their lives. Pauline Moore was lowered in a lifeboat and eventually rescued by a British cargo ship The Montcalm seven hours later. .
