A Chinese cloisonné enamel and gilt copper ewer, mark and period of Qianlong, the pear-form body decorated with blue, red, yellow, white and pink prunus on a 'cracked ice' turquoise ground, the neck with further prunus above a stiff leaf collar and band of ruyi heads, the gilt domed cover with Buddhistic lion knop finial, flanked by a gilt chimera mouth scroll spout and foliate capped scroll handle, incised four-character mark within double square to base, height 18.5cm. Note: for a similar Qianlong mark and period ewer with Buddhistic lion finial, see Lot 542, 'Imperial Pursuits: Treasures from the Palace Workshops' sale, 2nd May 2005, Sotheby's Hong Kong.
A Chinese hardwood armchair, late 19th/early 20th century, the shaped top rail above a carved and pierced circular panel splat back depicting a Buddhistic lion, eagle and deer within a bat and fruiting vine surround, each scroll arm with carved and pierced eternal knot panel above a panelled seat, on shouldered legs with claw and ball feet united by stretchers, height 102cm, width 69cm, depth 52.5cm.
An impressive Chinese cloisonné enamel and copper floor-standing censer and cover, mark of Qianlong but probably early 20th century, of large proportions, the swollen cylindrical body on three lion mask shouldered scroll legs terminating in paw feet, below a pair of pierced upright scroll handles and a domed cover with pierced panels and Buddhistic lion finial, decorated all-over with a polychrome design of lotus and scrolling tendrils on a black ground surrounding yellow and red shou medallions, bats and archaistic scroll bands, applied six-character mark plaque to rim, height 166cm (minor faults and losses).
A Chinese famille rose enamelled and calligraphic pea green ground porcelain wall vase, mark of Qianlong but modern, the body reserved with a gilt framed panel filled with five lines of black text and two red seals, the pea green ground filled with polychrome lotus and scrolling tendrils, with brown and gilt archaistic scroll handles and integral stand, gilt six-character mark to base, height 21.2cm.

Two modern Chinese porcelain figures of deities - late 20th century, in famille rose enamels, the larger 37cm high.* The figure holding the scroll has a small glued repair to the front corner of the scroll, below the left hand. Minor gilt wear. No other faults. The seated figure is in very good condition, with no faults.

A large Chinese painted Cizhou jar, Ming Dynasty, 14th/15th century, the broad-shouldered jar decorated in brown and reddish-rust on a white slip with three shaped panels enclosing a scholar in a garden, a crane standing amidst grasses bird, and a floral display, all above a band of upright lappets and beneath a band of leafy floral scroll, 34cm highProvenance: From the Collection of a Lady and Gentleman in Buckinghamshire, no. 4.13 A jar of this shape with a similar style of painting, including lozenge-shaped panels of scholars, was excavated in 1976 from a tomb in Yuncheng county, Shandong province, and is illustrated in Wenwu, 1988:6, pl. 7, no. 6. Compare with a similar jar sold at Christie's, 24 July 2020, Lot 59.
