A pair of 19th century Chinese huanghulai wood stools, the top of each with a floating panel, the aprons carved with simple scroll motifs, the top 42 x 30.5cm, height 46cm. (See illustration) Condition Report: There are signs of use and surface marks and loosening of joints. Also some possible attempts at restoration/repair as there are signs of glue.
Chinese carved padouk wood jardiniere stand with octagonal top inset with marble on carved scroll legs and pierced and carved frieze and stretchers, 46cm high x 49cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: Two natural cracks to marble top, one is the width of the top. Four joints to top wood rim, slightly spring. One piece of wood edge to marble is missing, triangular shape circa 2cm x 2cm x 2cm. First tier joints slightly open, one very split open. One leg/stretcher joint rather open another slightly open. Some horizontal joints at top rim slightly open/displaced.

A Chinese celadon glazed twin handled vase probably 19th century, of baluster form with flared neck and everted rim, on a flared cylindrical foot, with twin s-scroll handles, the body decorated with lotus flowers and scrolling foliage within petal and ruyi borders, stiff leaves to the lower neck, 11in. A CHINESE SILVER MUG, PROBABLY HUO CHEONG, CANTON, MID 19TH CENTURY slightly tapered body chased with figures of scholars and attendants outdoors, a roundel inscribed Ella A. Fowler. / 18??, with leaf-wrapped scroll handle, gilt interior, stamped HC only 10.5cm , 216gr (7oz) Since both this and the following lot come from the same source and are both inscribed 'Fowler', and that the other mug definitely has a Canton provenance, it would seem likely the mark 'HC' is for the Canton based Huo Cheong, rather than the Shanghai based Hung Chong who also used an 'HC' mark.

Three blue and white plates decorated with the Broken Scroll pattern 18th century, one Chinese porcelain, one Bow porcelain and one Dublin delftware, painted with an unfurled manuscript depicting flowering peony issuing from holey rockwork, the delftware plate cracked, 22.5cm.
