A Chinese export famille rose sparrow beak cream jug and cover late 18th century, the baluster jug painted with precious objects, a crane and flowers, with brown and gilt Greek key borders, the C-scroll handle and domed cover painted with flowers, enamelled collection number to base, 4½in. (11.5cm.) high.* Condition: Two small firing cracks to rim and small chip inside footrim. Old tape residue to one side of rim and minor gilt wear. No other faults.

Two pairs of Chinese carved and pierced hardwood window shutters probably early 20th century, the first, larger pair each with seven panels, the upper pair of panels with two bats and a longevity symbol, over a pair of large panels with birds and goats in woodland landscapes, flanked by vases of flowers and with bat spandrels, above a pair of smaller panels with fan shaped landscape reserves and a single lower panel with a central shaped reserve with a gazebo in a wooded landscape, within a border of keywork with birds, fruit, a bat, leaves and flowers, 57¼ x 33in. (145.5 x 84cm.); the smaller shutters with eleven small panels carved with horses, bats, longevity symbols and precious objects around a small window, the large panel beneath with an unfurled scroll depicting a pagoda in a wooded landscape, flanked by smaller reserves with a horse and goat, all on a keywork ground, 46 x 32¾in. (117 x 83.2cm.). (4)* Provenance: These shutters were removed from the vendor's parents' property in Shanghai in the 1940s, when they fled the city during the war with Japan.
A collection of nine Chinese silver Bian Fang scroll-form hair ornaments Qing Dynasty, each repoussé decorated with flowers and leaves, one with a central panel chased with a bird, all but one (the smallest example) with impressed maker's marks, 3½in. to 6½in. (8.8cm. to 16.5cm.) long, 1 1/8in. to 2 5/8in. (2.8cm. to 6.7cm.) wide. (9)* Condition: In good condition overall, with no repairs and just a little creasing to the silver to four of the ornaments.
A Chinese red and gilt lacquer box 20th century, of rectangular form, decorated with five claw dragons, chasing flaming pearl, brass furniture, twin loop handles, the cantered hinged cover, opening to red floral & scroll silk lining, 14½ x 10 1/8in. (36.8 x 25.7cm.), 12¼in. (30.5cm.) high.* Condition: Light gilt rubbing in places and some crazing to lacquer throughout. Small paint flakes from along back hinge edge, a few small chips to edges and some chipping to lacquer to lower edge and corners. Black crayon line mark to back of box & lid. Some fading to lacquer to sides and front. Lining probably later.
A Chinese porcelain famille rose, coral ground rouge pot 19th century, of bun form, the cover with a reserve painted with a pair of quail and a peony, the coral ground painted with Shou symbols in gilt, 2¾in. (7cm.) diameter; together with a famille rose porcelain scroll weight, rectangular form, painted with a seated noblewoman in a garden, within blue and white scroll and lotus borders, 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) long. (2)* Condition: - Rouge pot: Two small firing flaws with associated hairline crack to cover. Some rubs to coral ground and gilt wear. Old tape residue to base and cover.- Weight: Chip to one lower corner and glaze chip to top edge. Scratching to painted decoration and gilt wear.

(13.4cm.) diameter, together with a Yongzheng 'Boy & Butterfly' saucer and a late-Meissen saucer.
