A Chinese famille rose bowl early 19th century, the deep bowl with moulded sides rising from a straight foot, the interior finely enamelled with flower sprays of rose and passion fruit, floral, geometric and scroll gilt patterned bands on the blue underglaze at the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with floral sprays, and gilt and blue banding above the foot, 9¼in. (24cm.) diameter, hairlines.
