A GOOD CHINESE CELADON CARVED BOWL & HARDWOOD STAND, the bowl carved with formal scrolling lotus and foliage, the inside incised with further foliage scroll and Greek key borders, the base with a six-character yongzheng mark and possibly of the period, complete with a 19th century Chinese hardwood carved stand, 27cm diameter x 12cm high ( the bowl alone ).
Chinese figural group. A Chinese bronzed metal figural group circa 1900, modelled as an elephant surmounted by a scholar with a boy passing him a scroll, spurious reign mark to base, 15cm high x 14cm long, together with a Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) wooden altar piece, carved as Buddha seen resting on a lotus base with hands clasped, housed in a black lacquer shrine with gilt metal mounts, 20cm high (Qty: 2)

An 18th century Chinese porcelain coffee cup, decorated with flowers with scroll handle, 6.5 cm high together with similar saucer plus 4 dishes and 8 blue and white dishes, one with old printed label from the wreck of "Goteborg" (East Indiaman sank near Elsborg in 1745, and recovered by divers in 1876), 11.5 cm diameter, plus an early 20th-century Kashmiri wooden "mosque lamp" vase, with gold painted arabesque decoration on a blue ground, 25.5 cm high (Qty: 15)
A Chinese porcelain Republic style twin handled vase, possibly of the period, of compressed globular form, with twin pierced disc handles and raised on a waisted foot, decorated in relief with two Greek key bands, a lobed lower band with archaic scroll decoration and heart shaped foliate reserves to the foot with scalework, in a powder blue glaze, turquoise glazed interior, 7½in. (19cm.) high, lacks cover.* Condition: No faults but lacks cover.
A late 19th century Chinese carved hardwood four fold room screen, the shaped tops with scroll carved ears and pierced and carved top panels with immortals amidst clouds, over larger panels carved in high relief with two dragons chasing flaming pearls and scholars in wooded gardens, the small lower panels with birds on branches, fitted with large shaped brass hinges, on stile feet united by pierced floral and keywork friezes, 69½in. (176.5cm.) high, overall width 88in. (223.5cm.).
A 19th century Chinese Canton carved ivory brush pot, the slightly carved cylindrical pot deeply carved with an extensive garden scene with pagodas, other buildings, a horse and numerous figures, below a beaded and toothed border, the base with carved pierced foliate scroll and floral decoration, 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) high, split to base. *Condition: Vertical shrinkage split to pierced base section. No other damage or faults.
A Chinese silver wire inlaid bronze figure of Guanyin, 18th / 19th century, mid-brown patination, the Goddess of Mercy standing with hands together holding a scroll, dressed in wind-blown robes inlaid in silver wire with clouds, birds and flowers, 17in. (43.1cm.) high.* Condition: Some wear to patination on raised areas of face, hood and robes. Scratch to patination to upper back. No other faults.

A Lund's Bristol blue and white shell pickle dish c.1748, the scallop shell form painted with a Chinese vase containing tall feathers before an unfurled scroll, the rim with three motifs of further feathers loosely bound in ribbon, 9cm. Cf. Ray Jones, The Origins of Worcester Porcleian, p.249 for a similar dish. These have previously been attributed to Limehouse.
A Vauxhall small blue and white sauceboat c.1755-58, the wide fluted form painted with a continuous island landscape scene with Chinese figures conversing beneath tall trees and beside small pagodas, the interior with a formal foliate scroll to the spout, moulded with an angular handle, 16cm across.
A Worcester octagonal saucer c.1753-55, painted in the Chinese style with flowering plants and elaborate vases, and a Worcester octagonal coffee cup in the same pattern but printed in black and hand coloured, with a scroll handle, minor faults, 11.5cm max. (2) Provenance: the Jean Lucas Collection. The saucer formerly in the Bernard Watney collection, sold at Phillips, 1st November 2000, lot 957.
A Chinese famille rose vase: of ovoid form with waisted neck, painted with a terrace scene with ladies playing a board game and in conversation, a small panel to one side depicting two ladies reading from a scroll, the reverse inscribed in black with a poem and iron-red seals, the neck and foot enamelled with bands of scrolling flowers and foliage on a yellow ground between ruyi-head and diaper borders, the base with iron-red four-character Qianlong Nian Zhi seal mark, 20th century, 40 cm high.

Three Contemporary Fans and A Painted Scroll, all featuring animals: To include a 1993 fan signed and dated by the artist Aafke Brouwer, depicting Pegasus flying through the clouds pulling two young girls clinging to the sides of the basket of a hot air balloon. Of fontange form, mounted à l'Anglaise on modern wood sticks dyed black. The verso is plain. Guard length 9.25 inches or 23.5cm, overall height 11 inches or 28cm; A modern paper fan with cream leaf, red Chinese stamp and painted with a rat. Guard length 8 inches or 20cm; A single paper leaf painted with a scene by the full moon, a rabbit or hare peeking out of long grass. Modern black monture. Guard length 8.5 inches or 21.5cm; Together with a paper scroll, an original by the artist Aafke Brouwer, undated but bearing two red Chinese style stamps. A zebra with wings transports a hare on his back, flying towards a mythical palace in the clouds, Pegasus with a young lady slightly ahead, alongside a bird with red tail feathers. Scroll length 15.75 inches or 40cm long and 6 inches or 15cm wide, plus borders. All in good condition.
A CHINESE EXPORT CYLINDRICAL MUSTARD POT With a scroll handle and a hinged cover with a small finial, overall embossed with flowering prunus on a matt ground, (with an associated clear-glass liner) mark of Wang Hing, a Chinese character mark and '90', 6.25cm high overall (2 ½ in), 50g (a little over 1 ½ oz)
